In case you want to use your own rifle, it should be prepared for 200 meters shot with big-game ammunition.

Test shooting will take place at the farm before hunting, and all hunting follows Scandinavian rules, within security and ethics.

All rates are about 60 % of most commercial hunting farms in Namibia.

The hunting rates include: Full board (all meals), soft drinks and limited alcoholic drinks, accommodation, laundry, hunting guide, hunting vehicle, fuel, trackers and skinners, transport of trophies to taxidermist, hunting permits and VAT, NTB levies.

TERRA is arranging event travelling in Namibia, visiting different indigenous people, the Etosha national park, a seal colony and nature reserves. Other sites will include some of the world famous sand dunes at the Atlantic coast between Walvis Bay – Swakopmund and visit to the capital city of Windhoek etc.

All travels are combined with safaris and can also be combined with longer stays and travels in your own way. Because of the vastness of the country, 10 – 14 days for event travels are recommended in order to visit interesting targets as well as the Atlantic coast. Local transports and transfers are done in minibuses or medium sized tourist buses. Local guides are Sen. Hydrogeologist Greg Christelis and his wife Heidi and Sen. Hydrogeologist Birger Fogdestam TERRA Ef Uppsala, who administrates the arrangements in Sweden and participates in Namibia as a guide. Greg and Heidi speaks, English, German and Afrikaans, and Birger speaks Swedish and English.

The best time of visiting Namibia is April to May or September to November. The minimum number of participants are 16 and maximum 30 persons.

WADI VLF instrumentet

WADI VLF instrumentet

Radio waves in the VLF band (Very Low Frequency) have a low frequency and large wavelength. This type of radio waves have the ability to penetrate deep into the bedrock and so even in water. Radio waves in the VLF band are used for communication and navigation of military shipping. Radio stations are basically on every continent.

VLF sändare, vattenförande sprickzon samt WADI/VLF-mätning.

VLF transmitter, water-bearing fracture zone and WADI / VLF measurements.

When the primary radio waves, emitted by radio stations, hits conductive formations in the bedrock, cause by induction secondary radio waves. The electrically conductive formations may be concentrations of certain ore minerals, major water-bearing fracture zones in bedrock or karst weathering in the limestone bedrock in Somalia. With the help of a special radio receiver (in this case WADI instrument with a memory of 4000 measurement registrations) can sound out the mode for an electrically conducting geological formation and thus with relatively high accuracy indicate the location of an aquifer formation.

The strongest radio stations have a primary extension of up to 90 000 kms. For measurements, selection of all transmitters must be done to choose the one with the highest strength in the actual area.

Granskning av mätresultat, (Yusuf Muhammed, vattening. Somalia samt B.Fogdestam).
